HBF Network — Guide

Everything you can do here, in one place — plus replayable interactive tours. HBF Network is an open, research-first project for hydrogen–boron (p-¹¹B) fusion. It is not a commercial reactor and makes no net-energy claim.

Start with what you want to do

Run a simulation

Pick isotopes and conditions, run the reviewed kernel, read traceable results.

Explore a reactor

Inspect components, cutaway views, fields and telemetry in 3D.

Understand isotope reactions

Q-values, cross-sections, reactivity, kinematics and honest negatives.

Learn the science

Lessons, glossary and evidence behind hydrogen–boron fusion.

Inspect research evidence

Sources, dataset versions, validity ranges and limitations on every result.

Take the homepage tour

A short 7-step orientation to the whole network.

Isotope Explorer — how to read a run

1Choose reactants — a guided preset or any listed pair in Explore.
2Set conditions — temperature/beam energy, densities, volume, duration; all unit-aware and validated.
3Resolve & calculate — the reviewed kernel runs in a worker; invalid input is blocked first.
4Read the status — one availability code (SUPPORTED_EVALUATED, THEORETICAL_ONLY, OUTSIDE_ENERGY_DOMAIN, NO_CHANNEL_FOUND…). Unavailable is never shown as zero.
5Explore sections — Reaction, Products & 3D, Diagnostics, Evidence/Export. Every chart has a data table.
6Export & reproduce — download the bundle; re-import to verify the run hash bit-for-bit.

Evidence & fidelity — two separate axes

Evidence (E4 experimental → E0 unsupported) says how well data backs a result. Fidelity (L0 educational → L3 high-fidelity) says how detailed the model is. They are never combined into one score.

Frequently asked questions

Does HBF operate a reactor or produce net energy?

No. It is early-stage open research and education. No result claims net electricity, and the energy chain leaves net electrical “not determined” until every required term exists.

Why does a pair sometimes return “unsupported”?

The catalog only contains reviewed channels. An unlisted pair returns a typed, traceable negative result rather than a fabricated rate.

Do the tours ever click Connect Wallet or send a transaction?

Never. During a tour the highlighted control is covered by a click-blocking spotlight, so a tour cannot trigger a wallet connection or a transaction.

How do I replay a tour?

Use the “Replay tour” buttons above, or the floating “?” Help button on any page.

Prefer not to use guided tours? Everything is documented here and in each tool’s on-page help. Tours are optional and appear only once automatically.
