HBF Scientific Lab

Hosting diagnostics · Release 7.5.2

Check this installation

Requests every laboratory page, versioned script bundle, stylesheet, dataset and bundled sample image from this installation folder, then reports anything missing, served with the wrong content type, or mismatched against the expected release.

Run the check

Each request is made relative to this installation folder, so the check works whether the package is installed at a domain root or inside a subfolder.

Ready. No hosting check has run.

Installing the package

Extract the ZIP and upload its contents together — index.html, every laboratory folder, assets/ and data/. Uploading the archive itself, or a folder that contains the archive, will not work: the browser loads individual files.

You may install at the domain root or inside a subfolder. Open that folder's index.html to start. After replacing an older release, clear the hosting and CDN cache so the new versioned bundles are actually served.

If a laboratory does not open

Download the report and keep the exact failing laboratory URL. A 200 response that contains your host's own error page is still a failure, even though the status code looks correct — missing laboratory files have to be uploaded, and a rewrite rule pointing at the homepage cannot restore them.

Open the laboratory's explicit lab-name/index.html link from the homepage rather than relying on directory indexes. On Apache and LiteSpeed, the included .htaccess sets index.html as the directory index and declares JavaScript MIME types; the host must allow those directives, and other servers need equivalent configuration.

A successful file check verifies delivery only. To confirm that the interface and your device's graphics are working, open a laboratory and use its calculation status and playback controls.
