Datasets

Each dataset states whether it is measured or synthetic. A synthetic dataset can support a synthetic benchmark; it can never support a claim about real detector performance.

Real CR-39 plates require a licensed partner, an agreed etching protocol and blinded annotation before any measured claim (§8.9).
